Service Description
Give your kitchen sink a handmade upgrade! In this 90-minute adult workshop, you'll hand-build your own one-of-a-kind ceramic sponge holder — the perfect small-but-mighty project for beginners and returning potters alike. We'll walk you through shaping your piece from clay, then the fun really begins: texturize, stamp, carve, and personalize your holder until it's unmistakably yours. Add a stripe, a pattern, your initials, or a totally freeform design. No two pieces come out the same. No experience necessary — just bring your creativity. We'll handle the firing and glazing, and your finished sponge holder will be ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks. Perfect for a relaxing solo evening, a fun date night, or a small group outing. What's included: All clay, tools, glazing, and firing.

What to Expect Your payment holds your spot, and if you need to reschedule with 48 hours’ notice, we’ll do our best to fit you in another time. Ceramics is hands-on and fun! Most pieces come out beautifully, but sometimes a piece may break in the kiln — it’s part of the process. If your piece was well made, we’re happy to help with a replacement credit. Small cracks, glaze variations, or slight warping are normal and make each piece unique. Our instructors are here to guide you every step of the way, so don’t hesitate to ask questions. Pottery takes time — drying and firing means your finished piece may take a few weeks, but we promise it’s worth the wait!
