Service Description
In this festive workshop, you’ll handbuild a 9-inch whimsical clay tree — full of charm, texture, and personality. Using simple handbuilding techniques, you’ll shape and carve your design to create a striking holiday centerpiece that’s entirely your own. After it’s fired, you’ll return to glaze your tree in rich, vibrant colors to bring it to life. The result: a handmade showpiece you’ll look forward to displaying year after year. Ages 10 and up, beginners welcome. All materials and firing included.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that all workshop registrations are non-refundable. We reserve time, materials, and studio space specifically for you. If you’re unable to attend and provide at least two days’ notice, we’re happy to apply your payment as a credit toward another workshop (pending availability). The replacement workshop may not be the same, as some are offered only once due to scheduling and production limitations. Credits must be used within three months of the original workshop date or they will be forfeited. If you do not show up and do not contact us, your payment cannot be credited or transferred. As a small business, we simply don’t have the same flexibility as large retailers when it comes to refunds and rescheduling. About Fired Arts: Every piece created in our studio is unique! Sometimes, weird things happen and can cause surprising results: maybe the glaze did something interesting, for example. This is to be expected and adds to the uniqueness of your piece. Pottery is fired to nearly 2,000°F—twice—and unexpected results can occur. Glazes may vary, colors can shift, and sometimes, a piece may even crack or break in the kiln (thankfully, this is rare). In the unlikely event that your piece breaks during firing, we will issue a credit toward another workshop, also valid for three months. Thank you for understanding and supporting our studio!
