Open Studio Memberships 

Open Studio is for independent potters who want a relaxed, well-run space to practice, experiment, and refine their work. This is a shared studio built on trust and common sense—everyone cleans up after themselves, respects shared resources, and lets others work in their own way.

Open Studio is not an instructional program, but a place to work independently alongside other makers.

Membership Includes:

• Key access between 6:00am–11:00pm

• A dedicated personal shelf

• A designated weekly kiln firing allowance

• Use of studio glazes

• Access to shared community tools and equipment, including:

  • Pottery wheels

  • Slab roller

  • Hand tools and studio equipment

Studio Access Notes:
The studio may be unavailable during scheduled classes, workshops, or private events (typically a few scattered two-hour blocks per week). Closures are limited and communicated in advance.

Open Studio access is designed for up to 16 hours per week maximum, helping keep the space comfortable and accessible for all members.

Our Studio Values

Wrenworks Open Studio is grounded in mutual trust, shared responsibility, and ease. Members take care of the space, honor personal shelves and supplies, and use community resources thoughtfully so everyone can enjoy them. We cultivate a respectful, easygoing studio culture. Members are encouraged to be themselves while also allowing space for others—whether that looks like conversation at the wedging table or focused, independent work.

Open Studio Is Not a Good Fit If…

• You’re looking for ongoing instruction, demos, or guided projects

• You are a production potter intending to produce volume and adhering to deadlines

• You prefer unlimited or unrestricted studio hours

• You’re uncomfortable sharing community tools, equipment, or kiln access and respecting that personal shelves, tools, and supplies are off-limits unless explicitly invited

• You tend to push boundaries around materials, time, or studio policies
