Four Week Pottery Class

Our monthly pottery class is perfect for beginners and returning students who want to learn handbuilding, glazing, and basic studio techniques in a relaxed, creative setting.

You’ll work on guided and self-paced clay projects while learning how to build, shape, carve, decorate, and glaze your pieces.

Includes:

  • 4 consecutive weeks of class

  • use of studio tools and equipment

  • glazes

  • kiln firings

 

Clay purchased separately, in studio.

Beginner Wheel Throwing

This beginner class is for students who want to learn the pottery wheel from the ground up.

You’ll learn centering, opening, pulling walls, shaping simple forms, trimming, glazing, and the studio skills needed to keep practicing with confidence — including wedging clay, prepping clay balls, storing work, cleaning your wheel, and understanding the kiln flow.

This is the best place to start if your main goal is learning the wheel.

Includes:

  • 4 weeks of small-group instruction

  • guided wheel practice

  • clay for class projects

  • use of wheels, tools, and equipment

  • glazes

  • kiln firings

 

Additional clay available for purchase if needed.

$195 / 4-week session

TRY IT classes are $40 and include:

  • 2 pounds of clay

  • 2 hour clay class

  • 2 kiln firings

  • 1 hour glazing session

*Please note: 'TRY IT' classes are for hand-building only, not wheel throwing.
