Service Description

This focused beginner class is for students who want to learn the pottery wheel from the ground up. You’ll learn centering, opening, pulling walls, shaping simple forms, trimming, glazing, and the studio skills needed to keep practicing with confidence — including wedging clay, prepping clay balls, storing work, cleaning your wheel, and understanding the kiln flow. This is the best place to start if your main goal is learning the wheel. Includes: 4 weeks of small-group instruction guided wheel practice clay for class projects use of wheels, tools, and equipment glazes kiln firings Additional clay available for purchase if needed. $195 / 4-week session Small-group class limited to 3 students


Cancellation Policy

Each clay class session runs for four consecutive weeks. Your payment secures your spot for the full session. You may start anytime. No refunds or credits are issued once a session begins. Missed classes are the responsibility of the student. If you let us know within 12 hours that you’ll miss class, you can do a make-up class within the month. See me for details. By registering, students acknowledge and agree to these policies.
