Service Description
Join us for a free 30-minute introduction to pottery — the most beginner-friendly way to experience clay. No experience needed, just a relaxed, welcoming space to try something new. In your session, you'll get hands-on with two different sides of pottery. First, you'll hand-build a small snail (perfect for tucking into your favorite plant), learning the basics of shaping, smoothing, and adding texture. Then you'll hop on our wheels — both our big pottery wheels and our mini wheels — to feel what it's like to throw clay for the first time. We'll glaze and fire your snail in our kiln, and it'll be ready for pickup in about two weeks. This fast-moving half hour is designed to give adults (17+) a real taste of what we offer at Wrenworks before committing to a full class. Spots are limited. Registration required.

Free Intro to Pottery — Booking Policy This class is free to attend. Registration is required to hold your spot, as space is limited. This session is designed for you to try pottery — not necessarily to create something to keep. That said, we know it happens: sometimes you'll get on the wheel and make something you love. If you'd like to keep a piece you made during your session, there's a $10 fee, payable the day of the event, which covers glazing and firing. Pieces must be picked up within two months. Anything not picked up by then will be discarded.
