Service Description

Let your child get their hands dirty and their imagination fired up at our Kids Pottery Camp! Over the last two weeks of June, young artists will explore the basics of handbuilding with clay in a relaxed, playful studio environment. Campers will learn foundational techniques like pinch pots and slab building, then use those skills to create fun, expressive projects—think monsters, magnets, self-portraits, and other imaginative clay creations. We’ll focus on creativity, experimentation, and building confidence while introducing real ceramic processes in an age-appropriate way. All pieces will be fired and glazed, and finished work will be ready for pickup after camp. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get messy!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 30 days or more before the session start date will receive a full refund. Due to limited space and advance planning, we’re unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the session. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to another child (with prior approval), or we’re happy to offer the spot to a waitlisted camper. If the space is filled, a refund will be issued. Thank you for understanding—small camps require a bit of advance planning on our end. Studio Cancellations: In the rare event that we must cancel a camp session due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund for the affected days. Drop-off & Pick-up: Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Please arrive on time for both drop-off and pick-up to ensure a smooth experience for all campers. What to Wear: Campers should wear play clothes. Nothing fancy. Studio Expectations Clay Camp takes place in a real, working ceramic studio shared with professional artists. To keep the space safe, calm, and enjoyable for everyone, we ask campers to follow these simple studio expectations: Calm Bodies & Inside Voices This is a creative, shared, indoor space...(not Chucky Cheese). Running, roughhousing, shouting, or overly physical play isn’t a good fit for the studio. Hands to Yourself Kindness and personal space are important in the studio. Bullying, name-calling, or physical behavior toward others is not permitted. Any sort of bullying behavior may result in being dismissed from camp without refund. Respect the Studio & Artwork Campers may only touch their own work and assigned tools. The studio contains fragile, in-progress pieces created by other artists, and these must be left undisturbed. Come Ready to Create Clay Camp is a great fit for kids who are excited to be in the studio, enjoy hands-on making, and are happy participating in a calm, cooperative creative environment. By enrolling in Clay Camp, families agree to these studio expectations. Thank you for helping us create a fun and smooth camp experience for all!
