If crowded bars and laser tag don't excite you, maybe getting creative with pottery will! Your party with us will be what you want it to be. 80's music and karaoke machine? Bring it! Smooth jazz playlist and merlot? Sounds good! Maybe you want to bring that Twister game that's been collecting dust in the closet. Why not? Whatever the reason, Wrenworks Art Studio provides the perfect setting. Parties are 2 hours long. We supply a table for your snacks/drinks/gifts, (BYOB!!) use of Bluetooth speaker for your party tunes, party facilitator, and all creative materials necessary for you to have fun!

PYOP ‘Paint Your Own Pottery’
Pottery is made and ready for you to glaze (the words 'paint' and 'glaze' are used interchangeably but technically glaze is very different from paint! Regular paint would melt in the kiln, while glaze actually vitrifies in the kiln, (turns to a thin layer of colored glass) which makes your item food-safe, shiny and bright. Partiers choose their colors and glaze how they wanna! We have a large selection of pottery; Plates, Mugs, Platters, Planters, Holiday Decor, Louisiana Themed, Animals, Vases, Garden Accessories, and so much more...want something specific? We have you covered. If we don't have it in-house, we can get it! Your pieces will be fired in our kiln and be ready for pick up two weeks later.
PYOP Party Price: $100.00 studio rental fee; you have the entire studio to yourselves for two hours, plus the price of the pieces you choose to paint. You choose whatever you want to paint that day. Everyone can paint different things, or multiple items, as time allows. We have pieces from $5-$105. Most of our items fall in the $15-$30 range.

MYOP ‘Make Your Own Pottery’
Participants learn basic hand-building skills to make something out of clay. The guest of honor chooses what to make, and everyone makes more or less the same thing- (the steps to create are the same, but there's limitless ways to customize it). Vases, bowls, animal sculptures, trinket dishes, holiday decorations... ...the sky's the limit! Pottery needs to dry before being fired in our kiln; this process takes 7-13 days. After the first firing (called a 'bisque' firing), we'll glaze your pottery for you in the color of your choice, then, your pottery goes back into the kiln for a second firing called a 'glaze' firing. Your pottery will be dishwasher/oven/microwave safe, although we recommend hand-washing, because after all, it's a special piece! We'll call you as soon as your pottery is ready for pick up, about 3 weeks later.
MYOP Party Price: $50.00/person, all inclusive; 2 hours party time, clay, facilitator, use of studio tools, glaze, and two kiln firings.

Small Print
Your $50.00 deposit reserves your party time. Your party is not confirmed until we receive your deposit. Parties are 2 hours long, and you may come 15 minutes early to set up. Parties that go over will be charged an additional fee. If you need to postpone your party for any reason, please call us: 504 370-9736 and leave a message.
If we receive advance notice of 48 hours or more, your deposit will be held on account and applied towards another party date, which we will gladly work with you to find. Alternate dates are based on availability and what will work with your schedule and ours.
No shows will not receive a refund nor credit.
FINAL THOUGHTS: Due to the nature of kiln-fired, handmade arts, slight imperfections can and do occur. These add to the uniqueness of your handmade piece! On rare occasions, kiln-fired pieces can crack or shatter during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen, there are some factors that are beyond our control.
