FAQ'S
Located in the greater New Orleans Area, nestled in Historic Rivertown, Kenner!
CAN WE SIP N PAINT?
Yes! Every Thursday from 4-9 is ADULT ONLY PYOP. You bring the sips, we provide the pottery. You also may BYOB to our workshops, clay classes or your private party.

Do you need reservations during PYOP open hours?
No, we are 'walk in friendly'. On the off chance that we are at capacity, there's several places within walking distance to check out while you wait. Debbie on the Levee, Gendusa's, Ground Pati, Tin Roof Boutique, among others. If you have a group, consider reserving the studio for a private two hour pottery painting event. With 10 participants, there's no 'studio rental fee', you just pay for what you paint.

What happens to our pottery when we leave?
Your pottery will clear-glazed, then fired in our kiln to about 1900 degrees -ooh that's hot! Viola! Your pottery is shiny, food safe and ready for pick up two weeks later; swing by when we're open to grab it!

WHEN DO WE PICK UP OUR PYOP POTTERY?
Come by during open hours to grab your pottery, two weeks after your initial visit. We do not text you to let you know it's ready, just come by. Pottery left more than 45 days after your visit may be donated/discarded as we do not have storage space.
ADDITIONAL FUN FAQ'S!
Much of our pottery is made right here in Rivertown! Ask to see our slip-cast studio, right next door. Now-a-days, we clean the seams and bisque fire it for you, so that when you come to the studio, you just focus on the fun part; the glazing! We use the word 'painting' as a verb; you are painting the glaze onto your pottery. Regular paints wouldn't stand a chance in the heat of the kiln! Glazes are made of special earth minerals that actually vitrify in the kiln, coating your piece with a thin layer of glass.
