Clay Studio Pass $75 • Up to 4 Hours of Making Time + Glazing Need some clay time but don't want to commit to a full class or monthly membership? The Clay Studio Pass gives you up to four hours of independent making time, plus a separate return visit to glaze your finished pieces about three weeks later. Heads up before you book: Your four-hour session is for making your pieces. We'll then bisque fire your work, and you'll return during a scheduled Thursday or Friday glazing window to glaze them. That glazing visit is included in your pass — it's simply a separate visit from your making session. Your $75 Pass Includes Up to 4 hours of making time 5 lbs of clay Wheel throwing or handbuilding Use of studio tools and equipment Studio glazes Bisque firing + glaze firing A separate glazing visit about three weeks later Up to 4 finished pieces Additional clay is available for purchase at the studio. How It Works 1. Make: You'll have up to four hours to work independently and create your pieces. Leave them with us when you're finished and we'll bisque fire them. (We bisque at cone 04). 2. Glaze: About three weeks later, you'll return during your scheduled Thursday or Friday glazing window to glaze your pieces. This visit is already included in your pass. (We glaze to cone 6). About three weeks after your making session, you'll come back on a Thursday or Friday to glaze your pieces. Glazing is included in your pass, so just make sure you're available for that return visit when you book. A Few Things to Know This is independent studio time, not instruction. You should already be comfortable centering clay, throwing or hand-building, using studio equipment safely, and cleaning up your workspace independently. We're happy to answer an occasional question, but step-by-step or hands-on instruction isn't included. If you're looking for instruction, our pottery classes are a better fit. Your 5 lbs of clay can be used for wheel work, hand-building, or a combination of both, with a limit of 4 pieces total. Pieces must be a reasonable size for our kilns. Excessively large pieces or large numbers of small pieces may require an additional firing fee. Finished pieces must be picked up within two months of your scheduled glazing date. Pieces left longer than two months may be discarded. Availability: Thursdays & Fridays, 2–6PM, by reservation only. No walk-ins.
